It’s been a really long time since I’ve blogged anything, and so much has happened these past months. After 6 years of service, I’m finally out of the Navy. I took a month of terminal leave and just started a new career with SAIC as a government contractor working up at Schofield.
I finally sold my jeep. I got a good price for it and am happy that it sold so quickly. I only had it up on Craigslist for 3 days. I also got a new motorcycle, the incomparable Ducati 1098. I will be selling my Yamaha any day now and plan on just keeping the Ducati as my only transportation for the time-being.
Anyways, I’ll try to be a little more active on the blog since most of my family members feel out of touch. Joshie, you better still be coming out to stay in June!!!
This morning some of my friends and I headed down to Waikiki to participate in the annual Toys for Tots Motorcycle cruise. The weather wasn’t on our side, but it was pretty cool to see everyone come from all over the island to meet up at Ala Moana Beach Park and make the 3 mile journey to Kapiolani Community College with their gifts. I added a few photos up that I got from Roth, but since it was so wet outside I didn’t take any pictures. Hopefully more will surface from some of my other friend’s soon.
We did a little riding this weekend and my buddy Jesse made a short video to show some of the highlights. Very nice! Also, sorry about not posting anything new in an incredibly long time but I’ve been terribly busy!
As you can tell, I’m really having trouble with finding good material to blog about. I guess that means I lead a pretty boring life. Haha… Anyways, went riding with my buddies again this sunday and we got some good videos. I apologize for the quality of the photo but that’s what happens when you snag screenshots from a video clip and don’t take them still-frame.
We all went riding this weekend and, aside from traffic, it was a pretty good time. After a cruise up Haliewa and then back down towards Red Hill, Christian and I headed out to the beach. We tried to go to Ko Olina but the parking lots were all full so we ended up at Barber’s Point….which reminds me, we’re planning on camping out there next weekend and doing a little night-fishing so scribble it on your calendar and we’ll see you all there.
