Photos from the Gorge

After my deployment to Iraq I decided to go on vacation to my favorite spot, The Red River Gorge, with Lily and my family. We drove down to Kentucky for the weekend and had a great time climbing and hiking. The weather held up too, with temperatures approaching the 80’s.

We’ll be driving back to Baltimore on the 26th so we can catch our flight back to Hawaii. I REALLLLLLYYYYY miss my motorcycle!

My deployment to Iraq is coming to an end soon and I can definitely say that I’ve had enough. It’s been a great experience to see all the different bases out here and help out in small way. If all goes as planned, I’ll be back to the mainland in less than two weeks. I’ll be picking up a rental car in Maryland and driving out to spend a 6 days with my parents before flying back to Hawaii. Right now it looks as though I’ll be back in Hawaii on the 27th of March. See you all soon!!! I can’t wait.
